The event, which begins at 7 p.m., will take place at the Benefit Cosmetic Boutique at 315 Greenwich Ave. Attendees will join Dr. Gad Lavy, founder and medical director of New England Fertility, as he goes over the benefits of egg freezing. Participants will have an opportunity to speak with Lavy and ask questions about the process.

Today more and more women are opting to have children later in life. A woman’s fertility begins to decline in her 20’s and steadily decreases each year thereafter. By age 40, a woman’s chance of conceiving naturally is 5 percent or less.

In the past, women who put off having children had found themselves without many options. Today however, fertility preservation technology is empowering women to take charge of their own fertility and family planning like never before.

Preserving a woman’s eggs extends the window of time when her own eggs can be used to conceive, regardless of her age. The ability or option to freeze eggs is growing in demand from young, educated women who are eager to have a family when they’re ready.

New England Fertility utilizes the latest technology to make the egg freezing process accessible and comfortable.
