Family Day: Children’s Storybook Day

This fun day for the entire family celebrates the exhibition "Let It Snow! Children’s Book Art." Children can participate in a search-and-seek gallery hunt through the exhibition and create their own winter-themed bookmark.

Artist Jennifer Thermes, illustrator of the book The Iciest, Diciest, Scariest Sled Ride Ever, will be our special guest. From 1:00 – 3:00 pm, Jennifer will demonstrate her artistic skills and speak to families about the interesting work she does.

At 3:00 pm, Rick Adam from Encore Performing Arts presents his Winter Extravaganza! – a fun-filled kid’s vaudeville show with a winter-themed performance of songs, stories and silly stuff!

All activities are free with Museum admission and are suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
