GREENWICH, Conn. – The Bruce Museum Seaside Center is hosting First Sunday Science on Aug. 3 from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
Families of all ages will learn about the research and sampling techniques that help scientists understand Long Island Sound.
Bruce Museum Outreach Director Peter Linderoth and Seaside naturalists will explore the waters and gather data on the biodiversity of the site. Participants should be prepared to get their feet wet. Indoor craft activities will also be available.
The program is free and no reservations are required, but a beach pass is required for park entry. Visit the town of Greenwich website here for beach pass information.

First Sunday Science at the Seaside Center programs are held 1:30 to 4 p.m. on the first Sunday of each month and focus on a variety of topics, including the animals and plants of the Sound and current environmental issues.
Bruce Museum Seaside Center is located in the Innis Arden Cottage at Greenwich Point Park, Old Greenwich.
