Motorcyclist Critical After Crash In Delco, Officials Say

Authorities are investigating a crash in Lower Chichester that sent a motorcyclist to the hospital on Saturday, March 16.

A motorcycle collided with a car near the intersection of Cosgrove Street and East Ridge Road around 4:45 p.m., said township police in a release.

First responders found the rider badly injured at the scene and rendered aid before taking him to the hospital, police said. The other driver was not hurt, according to the release.

Authorities said the motorcyclist was still thought to be in critical condition as of Tuesday, March 19.

Police are investigating the crash and any witnesses are asked to call the Lower Chichester Township Police Department at 610-485-2760.
