Young Boy Shot In Head With BB Gun While Riding Bike In Glen Burnie

A young teen is recovering after being shot in the head several times with a BB gun in Anne Arundel County, authorities say.

The 13-year-old boy flagged down police officers around 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 28 in the 100 block of South Meadow Drive, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

The teen told officers that he was riding his bike in a parking lot in the 7400 block of Furnace Branch Road when three other teens shot him in the head with a BB pellet.

The victim stated that while he had been shot in the head, he did not need medical attention.

Officers were able to find the gun a short distance away and are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call detectives at 410-222-6135.
