The Laurel store was closed last week, according to an internal memo obtained by Reuters, because several people at the store had reportedly contracted COVID-19.

Walmart did not confirm the information

It was one of almost 60 Walmart locations in the US that had to be shut down in December due to COVID-19. Many were forced to close for sanitation purposes as the Omicron variant spreads.
