The 18-year-old Hackensack victim sustained minor injuries in the crash just before 11 p.m. at the intersection of eastbound Route 46 and Boulevard, Police Chief Michael Foligno said. He was treated at Hackensack University Medical Center and released, the chief said.
The driver, Kevin Koller, 30, was being held on $10,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with assault by auto and DWI.
