Westport Look: Stars Stroll Main Street

WESTPORT, Conn. – Hollywood actors Melanie Lynskey of "Two and a Half Men" and Jimmi Simpson of "Date Night" were out and about on Westport's Main Street on Thursday afternoon.

Lynskey is starring in an upcoming independent film, "Hello, I Must Be Going," which started filming in Westport in August at a private home in Saugatuck Shores. The film was written by Westport native Sarah Koskoff, who wrote the film to take place at her parent's home on Driftwood Point Road, according to documents from the Planning and Zoning Office. Todd Louiso is the director.

The film, which is also said to star Blythe Danner, is a comedy about a divorced soon-to-be 40-year-old woman whose life is turned upside down after she goes to live at her parents' house.

Crews were outside Tavern on Main on Thursday shooting scenes with extras, an unnamed crew member said. The crew member declined to comment as to whether Simpson was also starring in the film.
