NORWALK, Conn. As clean up continues following Hurricane Irene, games in softball in the Norwalk Recreation and Parks softball and volleyball leagues scheduled for Monday and have been postponed.
According to a note on the Recreation and Parks website, games will be played on Wednesday if the fields can be made playable. Teams who play Wednesday will be notified if there are further delays.
The co-ed tournament is scheduled to have four games on Thursday, with first half champion The Swingers meeting Tavern on 7 at 8 p.m. and Infusium, the second half champs, meeting OC Isotopes at 7. The women's softball playoffs begin Thursday with three games scheduled.
