GREENWICH, Conn. – The Bruce Museum in Greenwich will showcase the work of area high school students this summer in its sixth annual iCreate art exhibition.
From June 13 through July 26, about works of 40 art will be on display. The pieces were selected from more than 500 submissions gathered from an open call to regional high schools, according to a press release.
Finalists were selected by a jury of professionals after several rounds of voting. This year’s show will coincide with the museum’s major spring art exhibition, "Walls of Color: The Murals of Hans Hofmann," which explores the work of one of the greatest artists and visual teachers of the 20th century, according to a press release.
Every year, iCreate is organized by the museum’s Youth Committee, Youth@Bruce, as a way for youth volunteers to have a meaningful experience at the museum and obtain job skills to enhance their resumes.
The Bruce Museum is at 1 Museum Drive, Greenwich.
