The events will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Bright Star Theatre Company, a touring theater company from North Carolina, will perform “Freedom Songs: The Music of Black History” at 11 a.m. and 1 pm.

“Family days are really popular events at the Bruce,” says Julie Harrington, manager of youth and family programs at the museum. “It’s a great way to experience the Museum as a family, because there is always something for everyone, and it can be spontaneous – no reservations are necessary.”

No reservations are necessary and all activities are free with museum admission.
