The will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at McArdles Florist and Garden Center on 48 Arch St. in Greenwich.
The theme of this year’s celebration of trees is “In Honor of Trees and Those Who Help Us Grow."
Hors d’ oeuvres and drinks, including signature cocktail tastings, will be served. There will be door prizes, music and other surprises at the tree party.
“Preserving our natural environment is key to building healthy, happy communities,” said Bill Tommins, Bank of America's Southern Connecticut Market President. “Greenwich Tree Conservancy has done an excellent job in educating our citizens and businesses on the significance of preserving our environment, and we are happy to celebrate their success this year.”
Supporters and members of the Tree Conservancy have helped the Conservancy to plant over 2,400 trees on public property in Greenwich in the last nine years. After planting these trees, the Tree Conservancy and the town preserve and protect them so they enjoy a long life, which benefits the town both environmentally and aesthetically.
