A family service featuring David Glukh on trumpet and the McZollis vocal ensemble performing traditional carols will begin at 4 p.m.

At 9:30 p.m., there will be a service of Lessons and Carols. The musical Prelude of Carols will feature a virtuoso string ensemble from Russia's St. Petersburg Conservatory. Violinists Gulia Gurovich and Farkhad Abikadirov, violist Alexander Gurovich, and acclaimed cellist Stan Orlovsky will perform the popular “Fantasy on Greensleeves” by Vaughan Williams.

The service will present contrasting carols and compositions from a tradition spanning more than 400 years. Medieval chants and carols will be followed by the lyricism of Brahms and Vaughan Williams, while the piquant harmonies of modern composers will complete the program.

The Round Hill Community Church is located at 395 Round Hill Road, Greenwich.
