Greenwich Restaurant Week Dishes Up Deals For 10 Days Of Celebrating

GREENWICH, Conn. — More than 30 local restaurants will be offering special deals and promotions throughout the 10-day celebration of the third annual Greenwich Restaurant Week, which begins Nov. 11.

The festivities for this annual foodie event kick off Thursday, Nov. 10, with an exclusive Opening Night Cocktail Party at The J House from 6 to 9 p.m. The party will set the stage for a full week of culinary adventure all across town. 

Sample a variety of tasty tapas and light bites, sip creative cocktails by local mixologists and rub elbows with top Greenwich chefs. The event will feature an appearance by Geoffrey Zakarian, Food Network star from "Iron Chef" and "The Kitchen." He will be signing his brand new cookbook, "My Perfect Pantry." 

Join Kathie Lee Gifford as she showcases her GIFFT wines with Chef Conor by pairing with some of JHouse signature dishes. 

Don’t miss as Mercedes-Benz Greenwich raffles a new model Mercedes for a weekend to start your restaurant adventures in style. Dance the night away with DJ Kunjan who will be mixing his latest beats and keeping the house rockin’. 

Tickets must be purchased in advance and a portion of the proceeds from tickets sales will benefit The Transportation Association of Greenwich, an organization geared toward providing transportation services for elderly individuals and the disadvantaged of all ages. 

Starting Friday, Nov. 11, diners can chart a course for a 10-day tasting tour of more than 30 restaurants throughout Greenwich. 

Top chefs will be rolling out the red carpet with prix-fix lunch and dinner menus, and diners will be reaping the spoils of special wine flights, signature drinks, desserts, and other enticements. 

Be sure to make reservations in advance directly with the restaurant due to the high demand. 

This is the perfect time to visit a few of the restaurants on your bucket list, while the venues are in celebratory mode. 

Many of the restaurants will be featuring prix-fix menus that end in $.16 to celebrate the year.
