Greenwich Library Presents Children's Programs In April

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Library will host various children's room programs and drop-in storytimes throughout April.

Theatreworks USA and The Friends of Greenwich Library will present a live theatrical production of "The Lightning Thief" at 2 p.m. April 2.

Assigned tickets will be available at noon at the Cole auditorium. Doors will open at 1:50 p.m.

Japanese storyteller Hiroku Fujita will return for Japanese Storytime with interpreter and native guide Fran Stallings from 2-3 p.m. April 16.

Animal Embassy will bring Animal Ambassadors representing diverse habitats, such as a Eurasian Eagle Owl and an Australian Eclectus Parrot will come to the library to celebrate Earth Day from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 23.

Violinist Chie Yoshinaka will lead a Petite Concert for newborns to pre-schoolers from 10:30-11 a.m. April 26. Petite Concerts feature short, well-known musical selections and an instrument discovery session.

Registration for Baby Lapsit Spring Session I began March 21. The session cntinues from April 21 through May 19. Call (203) 622-7940 to register.

Family Financial Planning Series - College Tuition Planning takes place at 6:30 p.m. April 14. Register online at www.greenwichlibrary.org .
