GREENWICH, Conn. -- More than 100 vendors from local stores and restaurants will pack the sides of Greenwich Avenue for the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce's annual sidewalk sale that begins Thursday.
The sale will run July 11, 12, 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
Retailers and restaurants will showcase their wares, and shoppers are expected to turn out to look for bargains on clothing, jewelry, shoes, gifts and more at participating retailers and businesses.
At past Greenwich sidewalk sales , some vendors have featured discounts of 50 percent to 75 percent off regular prices on some goods.
On Saturday and Sunday, the sales will also feature activities for kids, including face painting, snow cones, popcorn and hot dogs, as well as live music performed by James Zap and David Cespedes.
The chamber is an advocate for the interests of the business community, as well as for maintaining the town’s quality of life and its residential integrity, according to its website.
