Greenwich Celebrates The Season With Annual Holiday Stroll

GREENWICH, Conn -- A live nativity scene, horse-drawn carriage rides, a horse-petting station, real reindeer, photos with Santa, and free parking are just some of the treats awaiting shoppers Saturday, Dec. 6, and Sunday, Dec. 7, as part of the 6th Annual Greenwich Holiday Stroll.

You'll also find a music entertainment tent featuring singing performances, professional ice sculpture demos, the Kempo Academy Bouncy Castles, Greenwich Arts Council holiday art workshops, letter writing to Santa and a host of food trucks parked throughout the downtown area.

The theme, says the literature, is "Shop, Dine, Save and Be Merry."  The festivities run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m Saturday; from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

More than 110 Greenwich merchants are participating. A full schedule is available here complete with interactive map.
