Greenwich Celebrates Earth Day At Talk On Gotham Coyote Project

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei will join Conservation Commission members and staff, and others at the Bruce Museum on Tuesday to present the annual Earth Day Month Proclamation.

Due to bad weather, the proclamation event was postponed Sunday. It has been rescheduled to coincide with a wildlife lecture at the museum on the Gotham Coyote Project from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the museum, 1 Museum Drive, Greenwich.

There will be a reception with light refreshments before the lecture, which begins at 7 p.m.

Chris Nagy, director of Research and Land Management at Mianus River Gorge, will discuss this study of the ecology of the northeastern coyote in the region to help promote understanding and coexistence.

The Earth Day Proclamation will take place at the end of the reception and just before the lecture begins.
