Greenwich Celebrates Bastille Day With Flag Raising, French Treats

GREENWICH, Conn. -- It's Bastille Day and to commemorate France's independence, Greenwich is celebrating with a flag raising and authentic French treats.

At 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, the Alliance Francaise will host its annual Bastille Day Flag Raising on the steps of Greenwich Town Hall (101 Field Point Road) followed by café and viennoiserie at Bistrot V (Bistro Versailles).

The restaurant will also feature a special dinner for $55 per person.
