Greenwich Artist Flies Solo In Exhibit At Local Gallery

GREENWICH, Conn. – Michael Thron, a local artist who says he draws inspiration from architecture and the exploration of the figure in space, is having solo exhibits at the Greenwich Art Society from Thursday, Jan. 7 through Friday, Jan. 29.

Greenwich artist Michael Thron, who studied sculpture at Syracuse University in New York and who is now attending Ramapo College in New Jersey, will have a solo show at the Greenwich Art Society this month.

Thron, who studied sculpture at Syracuse University, is attending Ramapo College in New Jersey as a grad student.

He has exhibited locally at Flinn Gallery in Greenwich and at the Katonah Museum of Art in Katonah.

There will a reception from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8 at the society, 299 Greenwich Ave.
