Mamaroneck Man Is Charged In Abduction Attempt

MAMARONECK, N. Y. -- Police caught up with a Mamaroneck man who was trying to kidnap his ex-girlfriend in Greenburgh, according to News 12 Westchester.

Police arrested Ruben Hernandez on attempted abduction after he tried to force the woman into his car at a bus stop on Tarrytown Road, the story said. The incident was recorded on video and witnessed by people, who intervened on the woman's behalf, News 12 reported.

Police said the woman had an order of protection against Hernandez, according to Westchester News 12.
