Rose will discuss her new book "Delicious December How the Dutch Brought us Santa, Presents and Treats," which mixes food and history in a celebration of Dutch and American holiday traditions.

The evening will feature delicious Dutch-themed sweet and savory cookies, cake and warm mulled wine.  Copies of Rose’s book will be available for sale and autographing by the author. The cost of the evening is $10 to help The Friends with their goal to purchase a second kiddie computer with a colorful keyboard and featuring educational games and exercises for the children’s room in the new library, which is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2015.

The computer costs $3,000 and is on the Library’s official Wish List. The Friends join the library trustees in aiming to make the new Lewisboro Library the best small library in all of New York state.
