Friends Of Greenwich Point Launches Summer Concert Series

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The 2015 season of the Friends of Greenwich Point's free summer concert series begins Sunday with 18-piece band The Fairfield Counts. 

The concert series takes place in Seaside Garden, but will be moved to the Old Greenwich-Riverside Civic Center in case of rain.

Twist of Fate will cover classic pop tunes from the '60s to the '80s on July 26. Blue grass group One Way Track will perform on Aug. 16 and GHS Jazz Players will close the season on Sept. 13.

Each concert takes place in the Seaside Garden from 5:30 to 7 p.m., except for the performance by GHS Jazz Players, which starts at 4:30 p.m. The events are rain or shine. In the event of rain, the concerts will be moved to the Old Greenwich-Riverside Civic Center.
