Ambulance workers took the Wayne resident to Hackensack University Medcal Center after Saddle Brook Rescue stablized the machinery and got him out following the 5:30 p.m. accident at the LAK Warehousing facility on Kenny Place.

“Something came loose and fell on him,” Police Chief Robert Kugler told CLIFFVIEW PILOT. “His legs were broken, not crushed.

“He was lucky,” the chief said. “He jumped onto the forklift when he saw it coming down. It would have landed on him.”
