Express Creativity With Art Journaling Workshop At Greenwich Library

GREENWICH, Conn. – Join Artist Kathy Coe from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, May 14 in the Greenwich Library Meeting Room for a unique art journaling workshop.

Coe will teach patrons how to create their own personalized handmade journal, as well as show how to use mixed media to explore the art journaling process. Patrons will work with watercolors, pencils, images, pastels, ribbons, postcards and more, all of which will be provided. The adult-oriented workshop is all about expression, creativity, moving forward, remembering and reflecting.

Coe studied at the DuCret School of Art in New Jersey, Pratt Institute and The National Academy of Fine Art and Design in New York. She has won numerous awards for her work, including The Elizabeth Green Shields Grant, The National Academy Lorraine Grace award, The Edward Mooney Traveling Scholarship, The National Academy Annual Helen M. Loggi award, The James Sudan Bronze medal and The Salmugundi Silver Medal for drawing.
