The meeting will be at Christ Church, at 254 E. Putnam, Greenwich.
Elmendorf oversaw the office from 2009 until earlier this year, leading the independent agency that advises Congress on federal budgets. His next position will be as dean of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government starting in January.
He will talk about how to create a realistic budget, draw upon his experience and ideas about how best to deal with the federal debt, spending and taxes.
There will be a social break at 10:40 a.m. with coffee and cake, followed by Elmendorf's chat.
