The event will be held at Woodway Country Club in Darien.

The outing is chaired by New Canaan resident Peter Krieger. Committee members are Linus Cooke, Jerry Fadden, Frank Fetchet, Jack Loop, Jerry Miller, Whitney Williams and Kurt Wolfgruber.

“Funds raised from the golf outing will sustain Voices' commitment to provide services to families, responders and survivors impacted by 9/11,” said Voices Founding Director Mary Fetchet.  “The event will also support Voices Resilience Center, which shares our lessons learned to promote healing in communities impacted by other tragedies.”

“The Voices outing will be a unique, personable and enjoyable experience.  Our committee has been working to create an, intimate “non-corporate” flavor for the event.” Krieger added.

“All of the proceeds will benefit the wonderful work Mary, Frank, and their team are doing to sustain Voices commitment to provide services to the 9/11 community, as well as communities impacted by other tragedies,” Krieger said.

“With only 25 foursomes playing their own ball and offering a variety of skills contests before the main event, we are hoping for a fast round and will conclude with a raffle, a small silent auction with a few select 'experiences' and cap off the evening with an entertaining sports figure."

While the golf portion of the event is limited to 25 foursomes, those not playing golf are invited to attend the dinner reception and guest speaker program beginning at 5 p.m.
