Symposium: New findings connect Japanese Barberry & Lyme Disease. These widespread ornamental shrubs harbor Lyme-infected ticks! What can you do to get rid of them?

Trailblazing scientists Jeff Ward and Scott Williams have discovered a remarkable connection between the proliferation of Lyme disease and a common and highly-invasive ornamental shrub: Japanese Barberry. Joining them for what promises to be a fascinating discussion on this research is Mark Weckel, Director of Research and Land Management of the Mianus River Gorge Preserve.
