A new American History Lecture series at The Ferguson Library brings history to life by hosting events centered on our nation’s past. Missy Wolfe, author of Insubordinate Spirit: A True Story of Life and Loss in Earliest America, 1610-1665, launches the series by discussing her work Thursday, January 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Main Library’s Third Floor Auditorium, Bedford & Broad Streets, Stamford. Wolfe’s book explores the life of Elizabeth Winthrop, an early settler of Greenwich, CT. All our programs are generously supported by the Friends of The Ferguson Library.
