A new American History Lecture series at The Ferguson Library brings history to life by hosting events centered on our nation’s past. Missy Wolfe, author of Insubordinate Spirit: A True Story of Life and Loss in Earliest America, 1610-1665, launches the series by discussing her work Thursday, January 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Main Library’s Third Floor Auditorium, Bedford & Broad Streets, Stamford. Wolfe’s book explores the life of Elizabeth Winthrop, an early settler of Greenwich, CT. All our programs are generously supported by the Friends of The Ferguson Library. Call 203 351-8231 for more information.
