PORT CHESTER, N.Y. Legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan will grace the soon-to-be opened Capitol Theatre in Port Chester on its opening night.
According to the official Bob Dylan Facebook page and the artists official website, Bob Dylan and his band will play the venue Sept. 4. The Capitol Theatre website released its upcoming lineup earlier this week but as of Friday morning still had the opener listed as To Be Announced.
The concert comes days before the scheduled Sept. 11 release of Dylan's new album, Tempest. Tickets go on sale Aug. 17 and presales start Aug. 13 on bobdylan.com.
Calls to Surefire Media, the public relations firm promoting the Capitol Theatre, were not returned Friday.
