GREENWICH, Conn. -- Grammy winner Ne-Yo and Motown founder Berry Gordy will headline the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation’s Fall Gala at the Greenwich Hyatt Regency on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 6 p.m.
Gordy will be honored at the event with the Spirit of Hope Award from the MMRF, which is a Norwalk-based nonprofit that supports research and treatment advocacy of the incurable blood cancer.
“We have lost far too many people to multiple myeloma and other cancers,” Gordy said in a statement. “It is my hope that funds raised during this incredible event will help the MMRF to advance its groundbreaking and innovative cancer research.”
Ne-Yo will perform at the gala along with Motown artists Chrisette Michele and Kevin Ross andCharl Brown, who currently appears on Broadway in Motown: The Musical.
