Coe will teach patrons how to create their own personalized handmade journal, as well as show them how to use mixed media to explore the art journaling process.

Patrons will work with watercolors, pencils, images, pastels, ribbons, postcards and more, all of which will be provided. This adult oriented workshop is all about expression, creativity, moving forward, remembering and reflecting. There are no rules in art journaling -- just come, start journaling and let go creatively.

Coe studied at DuCret School of Art in New Jersey, Pratt Institute and The National Academy of Fine Art and Design in New York with Dr. Furman Finck, Ronald Sherr, Harvey Dinnerstein and Marybeth Mckenzie.

She has won numerous awards for her work including: The Elizabeth Green Shields Grant, The National Academy Lorraine Grace award, The Edward Mooney Traveling Scholarship, The National Academy Annual Helen M. Loggi award, The James Sudan Bronze medal and The Salmugundi Silver Medal for drawing.
