American Gold Cup Will Be Coming To Area Farm

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- The 2015 American Gold Cup, hosted by Old Salem Farm in North Salem, will take place Sept. 9-13.

The American Gold Cup is one of only seven events that will comprise the East Coast division of the all-new Longines FEI World Cup Jumping North American League. Tickets for the international show jumping event are available online.

The American Gold Cup begins on Wednesday, Sept. 9. Events will also be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, Sept. 13, the first event begins at 9 a.m. and family entertainment begins at 11 a.m. with pony rides, face painting, a magician and shopping on Boutique Row. The marquee event of the show begins at 2 p.m. There will be autograph session with Grand Prix riders on the field following the awards ceremony.

Old Salem Farm is a state-of-the-art equestrian facility in North Salem. More than $30 million of improvements were recently completed, making the 120-acre property a first class show facility. In 2012, the North American Riders Group voted Old Salem Farm one of the top 25 show venues in North America.

The most extraordinary feature on property is the historic and pristine grass Grand Prix field.
