Hosted by Christine Georgopulo, owner of Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom, and guided by the Arthur Murray dance professionals, couples will waltz their way to Valentine's Day. It is being held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom at 6 Lewis St.

Theodore Brown, 29, will be escorting his sweetheart of 14 years to the Sweetheart Ball. They went last year as well.

"Wendy is my sweetheart, I'll be taking her to the dance at (Arthur Murray's) again this year," he said. "Last year we didn't coordinate, Wendy wore a blue dress and I wore pink. I am thinking about wearing a red silk shirt this year, but I would like to coordinate with Wendy."

He hopes to expand his dance repertoire this year.

"Last year I really focused on the two-step, cause as I always say, if you can do the two-step, you can really dance to anything. I hope this year to try the cha cha or maybe a waltz. Also, I'm curious about the foxtrot. I want to explore the trot a little."

Brown is looking forward to the event.

"I'm really excited."
