STAMFORD, Conn. – Stamford-based Chelsea Piers Connecticut is expanding its membership program to include a 65,000-square-foot health and fitness facility and clubhouse that will open this fall, the sports facility announced Monday.
The members-only fitness facility – which will be known as CP-AC Fitness – will be located in a previously vacant space adjacent to the current 400,000-square-foot Chelsea Piers sports complex on Blachley Road.

CP-AC Fitness is CP-AC is an acronym for the Chelsea Piers Athletic Club, Chelsea Piers’ expanded membership program. The athletic club will feature 25,000 square feet of strength and cardio equipment, a dedicated mind/body center for Pilates Reformer classes, multi-disciplinary and hot yoga, as well as traditional group fitness studios and dedicated space for triathlon and competitive cycling training .
Group exercise will be taken to a new level with more than 75 weekly fitness classes and programs. Additionally, there will be a custom Queenax Bridge studio creating endless possibilities for suspension, boxing and functional training.
Membership also includes access to the Olympic-size pool, hardwood basketball courts, one-fifth mile indoor tack, indoor turf fields, plus tennis and squash courts.
In addition to world-class athletic facilities, members will enjoy benefits throughout the sports complex, including babysitting services, two luxury lounges and cafes (one for families and one for adults only), steam rooms and saunas in new finely appointed locker rooms, and massage therapy rooms.
