Scarsdale Medical Group Welcomes New OB/GYN

HARRISON, N.Y. – A new gynecologist has begun seeing patients at the Scarsdale Medical Group’s multi-specialty practice at 600 Mamaroneck Ave.

Dr. Elizabeth Hung, MD, MPH, FACOG, started work at the practice on Monday, according to a statement from the office at 600 Mamaroneck Ave. She will primarily serve patients - both adults and adolescents - from Westchester and Fairfield counties.

Hung holds an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in Public Health from Yale University and is on staff at Greenwich Hospital. She received her medical degree from the University of Vermont, College of Medicine and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at North Shore University Hospital on Long Island, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident, according to the office's statement.

Hung, who is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, has written a number of articles and received several awards, including the Berlex Resident Teaching Award and the Cancer Research Training Award from the National Institutes of Health, according to the statement.

Additionally, Hung served as research fellow at the National Cancer Institute from 2002-2004. She has been providing obstetrical and gynecologic care to women of lower Connecticut and Westchester County since 2008.
