Olive Garden Adding Tablets To Place Orders

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Darden Restaurants, owners of the popular Olive Garden chain, will add tablets to every table at each of its 800 locations by the end of the year, according to the Consumerist.

The tablets, which have already seen limited release in select locations, will allow patrons to order menu items and pay their bills, the Consumerist reported. 

So far, the tablets in place have helped to produce faster dining times and increased average tip percentages for waitstaff, the Consumerist said. 

There is an Olive Garden in Danbury, near the Danbury Fair Mall.
