FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- News Corp. is undergoing a major shakeup that will include a significant reduction in jobs at Dow Jones publishing and a greater emphasis on digital media, according to the Wall Street Journal.
News Corp. employees received the news Thursday in a memo from Gerard Baker, Wall Street Journal editor in chief, the Journal reported.
Eventually, the job cuts could reach more than 100, the Journal reported. Meanwhile, Dow Jones expects to hire personnel specializing in digital media, the Journal reported.
