Open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Kings Weekend Farmers Market will not only offer shoppers farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, through its Local Fresh 24/7 program, but also feature a variety of barbecue favorites and unique tasting opportunities. It is all part of Kings’ commitment to bringing customers the freshest, locally sourced products available.

Customers at the Weekend Farmers Market will have the opportunity to shop local, fresh summer produce from neighborhood farms. Gardening favorites such as perennials, hanging flower baskets and organic soil are all available. In addition, Kings is offering a variety of outdoor samplings, in which experienced Kings chefs will grill sausages, shrimp skewers, ribs and hamburgers.

Shoppers looking for fresh produce during the week and throughout the summer can enjoy Kings Local Fresh 24/7 program. Now available in its Old Greenwich store, the Local Fresh 24/7 program allows customers to experience the benefits of a local farm stand in the convenience of their neighborhood food market by delivering fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs to its aisles within 24 hours of being hand-picked at local farms.

Shoppers will also experience gourmet samples, including juicy lemon caper shrimp, Mama Chia’s organic chia seed vitality beverages, flavored with a touch of agave nectar, and Aidell’s sweet, pineapple flavored hot dogs. Other exclusive tastings will include Gelato Giulana’s all-natural, artisan gelatos and Kings’ buffalo blue rotisserie chicken wraps, which are part of its prepared food offerings.
