J.P. Morgan To Start Charging Large Fairfield County Clients Deposit Fees

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. is set to start charging large institutional clients in Fairfield County and throughout the U.S. deposit fees, according to marketwatch.com.

The new measure will not impact regular retail clients, but institutions such as hedge funds, financial firms and private equity firms could see the new charges, marketwatch.com said. 

J.P. Morgan said holding funds for larger clients is becoming too costly and is now looking to discourage these types of large deposits, marketwatch.com reported.
