GREENWICH, Conn. -- U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal led a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the new training facility for Mason Street Strength and Fitness in Greenwich, along with owner Mario Guaglianone.
The completely renovated facility measures 4,700 square feet with full men's and women's lockers and showers.
The facility features an indoor turf field measuring 18 yards long by 5 yards wide to accommodate foot work and agility as well as speed training.
Most trainers are certified strength and conditioning specialists and hold bachelor’s degrees in either exercise science or kinesiology.
The main focus is on developing athletes, injury prevention and weight loss. The facility will educate its clients on the importance of nutrition, discipline, hard work and dedication in achieving their dreams, athletic or otherwise.
