The two publications will be owned by the same company, but will be merged online as artnews.com, the Times reported.

Brant, a newsprint mogul and contemporary art collector who has owned Art in America since 1983, will gain a controlling stake in the conglomeration, the Times said.

According to the magazine’s website, the merger will form the world’s largest art-media company.
