GREENWICH, Conn. -- Business innovator and author Russell S. Reynolds Jr. will discuss his new book, "Heads, Business Lessons from An Executive Search Pioneer," at a reception sponsored by the Greenwich Historical Society and the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce.

The talk will be on Nov. 20, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the historical society's Vanderbilt Education Center at 39 Strickland Road, Cos Cob.

Reynolds is an innovator and key player responsible for raising the level of professionalism that propelled the field of executive search to its stature as a respected, multi-billion-dollar industry. In his talk, he will offer insights into the critical role of executive search in the business world and provide invaluable career advice for all, according to the announcement on the chamber website.

Reynolds is founder and chairman of RSR Partners, a leading executive and board search firm based in his native Greenwich that recruits corporate directors, chief executive officers and senior executives in a range of industries.

He is a Yale University graduate, and before founding his first search firm, Russell Reynolds Associates, he was a lending officer at J. P. Morgan & Co. He is a longtime supporter of the Greenwich Historical Society, is on its advisory board and has served as a trustee on the boards of several community organizations.

The cost is $15 for members of the Greenwich Historical Society or the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, and $20 for nonmembers. Admission includes a wine and cheese reception.
