Greenwich Billionaire Pledges $267K Gift To Fix Bruce Park

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich billionaire Ray Dalio and his wife Barbara have pledged $267,750 to the town to help with long-overdue renovations in Bruce Park, according to Greenwich Time.

The donation will help in the completion of a walkway loop around the park, enhancement of the existing drainage system, and new funding for tree planting and maintenance, the story said.

Dalio, reportedly worth $13 billion according to Forbes magazine, is founder of Westport-based Bridgewater Associates, the world's largest hedge fund.
