He joins the firm after 28 years at Ivey, Barnum & O'Mara, another Greenwich-based firm.
Haslun will focus on land, zoning laws and occasional civil litigation.
"Chip and I have known each other for many years and when we first spoke of his joining the firm as a named partner it seemed to be a natural, complimentary fit,” said Scott Johnson, JH&H’s managing partner, in a statement.
"[His] many years of practice before local land use commissions and boards and associated agencies and commissions and his established relationships with the land use community of architects, engineers, lawyers and professional staff will serve our clients well,” Johnson continued.
“This is a unique opportunity for me to dedicate my practice to what I enjoy the most, in a boutique law firm which has a long history of service to the Greenwich community,” said Haslun in a statement.
Haslun earned degrees from Hamilton College in 1981 and the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1987. He is a member of the Connecticut and Greenwich Bar Associations and is licensed to practice before all courts of the State of Connecticut and the U.S. District Court.
Active in his community, Haslun has served as president of the Greenwich Bar Association, vice chairman of the Greenwich Housing Authority, member of the Board of the United Way of Greenwich, and Vice President of the Board of the Greenwich Library.
