GREENWICH, Conn. -- Get into the holiday spirit at King's Market in Greenwich when it holds a weekend-long holiday tasting event in its Old Greenwich location Friday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Shoppers who attend the event will be welcomed to taste their way through the store as Kings offers three consecutive days of signature samplings, exclusive cooking demonstrations and a special gift from ENJOU Chocolate, for the first 250 who attend.

Customers who visit the store on Friday or Saturday also will have the opportunity to meet and receive complimentary consultations from nutritionist Shari Bilt Boockvar.

Kings Food Markets is a one-stop culinary destination with gourmet selections, chef-prepared meals and all of the seasonal essentials. From the community’s largest selection of locally sourced, organically grown produce to “top of the catch” seafood and superior cut meats to hand-selected cheeses from over 20 countries.

Throughout the course of the festive three day event, Kings will offer customers classic holiday treats from each department, showcasing party ideas from dinner to dessert. Grass fed beef seamed eye round roast, Ecce Panis take and bake breads and Honeycup mustard will be among the cooking demonstrations. Other samplings will include pumpkin pie, Ghiradelli baking chocolate and coconut custard pies.

King's Market is at 26 Arcadia Road in Old Greenwich.
