NEW CANAAN, Conn. – Geigers Landscape will celebrate the grand opening of its new Home and Garden Center in New Canaan on Saturday, May 10, at 10 a.m.
First Selectman Robert E. Mallozzi III will participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by food and festivities such as face painting and pony rides. The business is at 295 Frogtown Road in New Canaan.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be expanding our business with a New Canaan office,” said Frank Geiger, founder of Geigers Home and Garden. “Not only will this new office create jobs in Fairfield County, but it will allow us to provide high-quality landscaping services even more directly to residents in New Canaan and surrounding communities.”
Geiger, Mallozzi, members of the Public Works and Land Trust Departments and members of the Chamber of Commerce and business community will be part of the grand opening.
The grand opening of the New Canaan location is part of an expansion by Geigers, whose roots in Fairfield County date to 1953. Geigers also opened design offices in Fairfield, Westport and Greenwich this year.
Geigers is headquartered in Westport. The business offers a number of home and garden services, including the creation of beautiful property master plans by its master designers and architects, outdoor entertainment areas, swimming pool environments, four season and specialty gardens, backyard makeovers, driveway and entry courtyards and mood lighting.
Geigers also offers property management services, including full landscape management and home management, from heating and air conditioning systems, to appliances, lighting, roofs and lighting.
Geigers Concierge is the newest service that will help manage a homeowner's most personal needs with its regional, national and international network.
Geiger’s has hired more than 30 specialists in the last two years to support their expansion and new services while adding over 20 service vehicles and pieces of heavy equipment to its fleet of more than 50 vehicles.
Geigers services homes in the tri-state region and properties across the country and as distant as Dubai, Egypt, India, and Thailand.
