Are Town jobs acquired through open "talent" auditions or tete-a-tete arrangements? Is public notice merely a legal compliance formality? Have you noticed the surnames of many Town employees and their political/religious/social affiliations? I'm sure it must be purely coincidental. Heaven only knows the sanctity of our hallowed halls of town governance. Saying open sesame doesn't seem to unlock doors. What are the magic words? Hmm ... would anyone dare reveal them? Of course not.
