The Anthis Corporation, also based in Fairfield, now owns the four-level building.
“This is one of the largest transactions we have handled to date,” said Ares Real Estate Agent Sara Weidel in a news release.
Greenwich Commercial Property LLC represented the seller of the building.
Anthis Corporation is interested in possibly turning two floors of the historic 7,500-square-foot Lewis Street location into a restaurant, according to Weidel.
The upper two floors possibly could be used for offices or apartments. Ares Real Estate will continue to be involved in redeveloping the building, Weidel said.
