STAMFORD, Conn. — Ice cream lovers in Stamford will soon have another location to cool down — and just in time for summer.
A new Carvel ice cream location is coming to Stamford just north of the Merritt Parkway.

Photo Credit: Jay PolanskyA Carvel is in the works on Long Ride Road just north of the Merritt Parkway near the Lakeside Diner. The location is expected to open in early to mid-June, according to a company official.
Carvel also has a location at 1980 W. Main St. in Stamford near the Greenwich town line.
